The Vapor Vest and Jacket is a versatile and functional outerwear piece, perfect for any outdoor adventure. This PDF sewing pattern allows you to customize the look with blocking options and an optional back vent, hood or collar, and two lengths. A 2" FBA bodice is also included!

With front chest and side pockets, and the option for an elastic waist in the back, this jacket provides both style and practicality. Use heavier woven fabrics for warmth or thinner woven fabric to stay dry in any weather.

NOTE:  There are separate files for the jacket and vest options. 

Suggested fabrics: outer wear fabrics with 0-30% horizontal stretch such as soft shell fleece, performance nylons, denim, corduroy, quilted fabric, puffer-vest fabric.

You will need:

• Two (2) yards for the Vest and 2.5 yards for the Jacket. 
• One separating zipper (22" - 26" for the high hip length or 26" - 30" for the full length option)
• Fusible Interfacing 
• OPTIONAL: Three (3) 7" long zippers for the pockets (closed at the end)
• OPTIONAL: 1/8 or 1/4" elastic cording
• OPTIONAL: 2,4, or 6 barrel cord locks
• OPTIONAL: 2 or 4 grommets
• Double sided pressure tape (Wonder Tape)
